Worst ever year for keeping logs dry

Only "pretty bad"? It was flippin horrendous here!

 

I drove to north cornwall yesterday, past flooded houses, collapsed roads, big trees over...

 

Well OK it was bad but nothing like the worst I have seen in these parts. 70mm of rain here and 120mm up at Postbridge. Saw flooding in Horrabridge and Whitchurch but these areas always flood when it tips it down.

Have any of you struggled to supply customers because of not getting/keeping logs dry, when we struggled a few years back we just warned them that the logs may be a little wetter that they should, most people especially the regulars didnt mind, all I suggested was star a load of logs infront of the fire just to help them dry ready for the following evening,

 

 

That is what I am saying to customers,what more can one do/ say.It must be the worst autumn/winter for damp atmosphere that you have all known in your firewood/logs supplying years,horrendous.
