Bandit 90XP throws chip very hard even hedge clippings and light stuff go right to the front of the lorry some 5m away and I'm sure would blow chip 2-3 times that distance if need be.

Bandits deffo known for pumping chip hard and fast.

TP too - very straight, strong chip throw :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Do any other greenmech arborist owners find this happens also? We are finding we have to have the chipper along side the truck now to fire it to the back! No good if it's on a narrow driveway 😡

Nope 19-28 smashes it forward.

Our FORST TR8 will shoot chip for miles! Set it to 4.5 or higher and its like a rocket launcher....

And mine, has put dents on the head board!

With all chippers you get ballistic separation, the heavier chips fly the furthest and the light stuff drops first, you will notice this when chipping onto the ground with the deflector set high. Greenmechs tend to make a fairly fine chip. You could try and turn up the speed of the rollers to the maximum to get the chip size as big as possible. it might help... you could check the engine is making the revs it should as flywheel speed plays a big part.

We had a gm150 when our qc was in for work and we managed to get it to fill the box by firing the chip at the box roof so it could bounce forward which actually worked quite well.

If you look at the spec sheet it's actually got quite a slow router speed compared to most of the competition machines, good machine though!

My 130 arborist doesn't seem to have speed roller speed settings I think it's just one fixed speed. Buy your right you get bigger bits going far then the rest just spits out at a pretty low rate.
