Spare part online

Hi All

 

We are thinking about doing spare parts online, we believe this will be good addition to our website. Please can you let us know either way what you all think as it will be a big investment to get it sorted and need to know how many people would be interested in using it.

 

It will be easy to use and will contain all the breakdowns of each machine like below.

 

 

Your feedback is important on this one as it will help us in the decision on whether to push forward to it or not.

Would be extremely useful to me as I carry out most repairs myself, usually only go to a dealer if I don't have the time or the tools required. Tracking down parts can be very time consuming.

 

If you are unable to list all parts online then it would be helpful if you could list the brands you can get parts for with a contact us for availability form or something along those lines along with the option to add gift vouchers to an online order to cover the cost of those parts as a special order item once you have confirmed availability & price.

It would be an excellent addition. I have said for years that what was needed. Having to email your local supplier and request prices for parts, they then have to look it up and reply. You then reply again to purchase. You could cut two of those steps and quite a bit of time out of it.

As above, I would use when appropriate. Exploded schematics are very useful.
