100year old oak milled into a bench

i cut some blocks for the legs, not sure wether to make some nice legs or just beval the edges and sink them into the bench, they wont be seen very well anyway,

 

av finsihed sanding it, av just put the first layer of oil on it

cheers rob,my m8 had a couple of big lumps on the farm and he wanted them milled up( favour for a favour) after i had cut halfway thre, the pattern started coming out so i said i wanted a 5" slab for payment:thumbup:

that is nice wood and the dog looks good on it bull mastiff?? i have just done a bench and my bull mastiff love sitting on it i will take a pick and post it well done mate.

made a few with lags like this cut from forks in the same tree as seat part came from.
