GUNS: Should they be legal in the UK ?

I live in the country.

We have virtually no gun crime, even though we all have guns.

Perhaps they should build more fields and woods in towns?

If you have a gun, you might kill someone with it, if you don't have a gun then it's less likely that someone will die......?

 

 

I have cars and vans. I also have a kitchen full of large knifes and a garage with dangerous tools.

 

All are capable of killing someone.

 

Should I have them then? As I said before drink/stoned drivers kill more people than guns ever will in this and most countries!

 

Almost any object can be used to kill.

What's the difference. Guns are licensed, so are the cars. My knifes and tools are not.

 

Illegal anything is just that and should not be tolerated. Please don't tar everyone with the same brush.

I've seen those signs in Europe Eggs, as Ted says it's for checking in a legally held firearm/shotgun. You need to have arranged this beforehand though.
