Dinosaur music unearthed

This week your's truly and Mrs Shane have been doing some decorating (woo hoo). To help obviate boredom I found an old casette player and a couple of tapes I picked up (and didn't put down) at a car boot sale.

I gotta say I had long forgotten Wishbone Ash . Having listened to it a few times while dropping wet plaster all over the windows I'm enjoying my historical sojourn back to the seventies.

Ah... proper music.

Anyone else been winding back the clock?

Saw W/B/A a couple of years ago ( having not seem them for 25 or more years ) on Worthing pier . Cost about a £5 and they were spot on . Must have been 50 people there . Dont think its the same line up as original but some of them were . Ted Turner ?

I have seen the Andy Powell lineup, Joe Crabtree the drummer probably wasnt born when they released Argus, I think the Turner lineup still tours as well

Listened to the 'heep' last week. Still going strong I believe. Blood red roses, what a track

Yes, still going, although only Mick Box left from the early line-ups. I particularly like July Morning, especially Ken Hensley's epic keyboard solo at the end.
