I can recommend the Stihl. Been using a couple that are 3 years old. Had from new, no problems and plenty of power and quiet compared to the older model blowers. Brilliant machines.

Only ever used hand held Husky blowers so cant comment on there back pack.

I cannot compare the two; never tried the husqvarna. Recently tried out a few Stihl blowers, but in the end... If there is a more powerfull one you probably favour that one over the less powerfull machine.

Weight seems to be virtualy the same.

Tried is on chestnuts and wet leafs: br600 was the one we took home.

Personaly i would chose Husqvarna as the Stihl uses a 4-mix which I dislike. Although I realy like Stihl 2-mix machines. 2 strokes are much beter for lots of reasons 2 main ones being more power & lighter weight. I use two hand blowers for big leaves one in each hand. I find you have more control & a broader spread 60cc of 2 stroke power. You do get arm ache 9kg acording to the book.
