Cleaning/killing moss on tarmac

Hi, does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for a chemical to help deal with moss on a small area of tarmac and (dirty) gravel?

Anything alkaline will kill moss, so the bleaches, dairy or toilet cleaning chemicals.

Have you used any of those ones yourself? Are they any good, and will they keep the moss at bay for any length of time?

Stuff in NZ called Wet and Forget. Bleach free and works on moss, mould etc. awesome stuff. If you can find a similar product in the UK.........

I used to regularly get some Armillotox for a mate to put on his tennis court, I dont know the details on this but I think that it was advertised as getting rid of moss, but something in the licencing changed so now it is listed as an outdoor cleaner and therefore anyone can buy and apply.

 

I was told by a builder friend that if you wanted to keep moss off a roof, then poke a few copper nails in the mortar joint on the ridge, so perhaps a few copper filings might do the job

I'd read about armillotox online but apparently it's not made anymore, and the remaining stock is about £90 a bottle!

Or lime sulphur or copper sulphate, so my off sider tells me.
