Where do you buy your saw chain?

Got desperite and paid £34 plus vat for 3/8 chain for my 24" 372 the other day....not impressed seriously considering buying a reel of 3/8 chain now

I buy mine made up from my saw dealer, I buy them in mixed ten's and get a BIG discount

Local dealers, or on line if i am putting an order in....i Prefer stihl to oregon chain, and one of my local dealers gets all their stihl stuff off you guys anyway!!

i buy all of my chains from brandon hire in penzance , they give me 20-25% discount off of all bars and chains that i buy , and what makes it even better is they can order chains for any of my husky or stihl chains from still whicn normally get delivered the next day , and stihl chain on a husky saw is just as good as any other chain . alot of dealers do no realise or let there customers know that they can buy chain for husky, tanaka , makita and a few othera from stihl . as a rough guide i pay £11 for chains to fit my ms200t

I use local dealer who makes them from a reel, if I'm on a job nearby, else I use the tinternet for them. I stay away from cheap chains though, stihl or oregon for me as a rule. Tend to find the cheaper chains go blunt quicker and don't take as many sharpens.

Mixed bag so far. Most buy by the reel, some loops.

 

Take it you guys aren't interested in the postal sharpening. That must be Jo Public with his black and decker chainsaws
