The whole country is aware that every government or council run service is cash strapped. There is no meat on the bones and the only way Corbyn can possibly entice the electorate is to try and redistribute wealth, with this he can increase spending on welfare and other government harebrained schemes . If he is successful I for one will be off because a mass exodus of investors in this country will ensue, we can then helplessly watch it all go down the pan from where it has just been retrieved. I dont particularly support any of the parties but at least the Tories run the place as a business .Someone on here once said dont trust anyone that polishes a chair with their arse for a living .

?? Err, don't think so Eggs, I have not posted my opinions on this thread as I can't be bothered with all the backlash. I do not think I could do a better job of running the country.

Come on Hodge! You've made your political view more than clear in the past.

I've met you and think your a sound bloke. We don't have to agree on every thing ya know!

I saw this comment posted by someone elsewhere and it mirrors my thoughts about it. I can't credit the poster as they posted anon. I've stopped getting wound up about now, nothing really changes for the better over time. Atrophy.:001_smile:

Ron Paul, Tsipras, Trump, Corbyn.... In every political arena these 'faint hopes' are kept around to provide vents for public exasperation with the Establishment. They are part of the system of financial management, 'party politics' being the cleverest system of social control ever devised, in that it makes the population complicit in their own domination, while permitting them perpetually to imagine that change might come with the next election. The media can instantly silence or sideline any politician, so if one is being kept alive politically you know that, wittingly or otherwise, he/she is serving the Establishment's purposes.
