Diesel only; unfortunatley extreme convenience wins over ultimate quality...

Wasn't it supermarket petrol that was high in silicates and screwed up loads of cars several years back ?

I'm not advocating going out of your way to avoid supermarkets, just fill up when you are passing a local 'real' garage.

Funny how lots of people on here slag off customers for going for the cheapest quote rather than quality then they fill up at Tesco or Sainsburys because..........

Sods Law applies every time; full tank when next to real garage, running on fumes with tesco 15 seconds from my house... Got some BP derv today tho - £1.05 :thumbup1:

I am raging over this!

If it's not back in his account by 15th September, I'm organising a whip-round to reimburse him.

An utter disgrace... No less!

On a side note I'm sure my card was cloned at a tesco pay and pump... I know they have cameras but the pumps are un manned at night.

Would be easy to fit one of those cloning whatsits - then collect in the morning.
