Just a bit of warning. Had 2 chaps call in the yard around 3 pm in a white renault panel van trying to sell the usual generators and chainsaws. Registration number 131 D 4990 on irish plates. Yard on the outskirts of Cullompton. Might pay to be the extra bit vigilant if local to the area.

A very concise and accurate warning . Take heed all in that area . Nice one Graham . :001_smile:

Was the younger guy a pin-headed giant with a cartoonishly outsized chin?

Some years ago I worked for a guy and we needed a gennie. We went shopping, and driving through town he spots these scoundrels selling "Honda" gennies out of a big white Renault. Dressed to the nines, like they were headed for the ambassadors's party or something...

So he makes for the van as I try to caution him, he says "Ah sure they're Honda's, it'll be fine..."

:001_rolleyes:

So he buys the gennie for half the cost of a real one and we bring it back to the site.

No prizes for guessing what happened next....
