Hi,

Its not good to drink tea or coffee as they are diuretics, alcohol also dehydrates although I do enjoy a glass of rose or two at the end of the day.

Best thing is just to drink water and loads of it, all those fizzy sports drinks are full of sugary crap IMO, would rather drink my own pee tbh.

No coffee how would I get out of bed in the morning ???

Agreed on the sports drinks all though I may have a lucazade at 4pm to keep me going.

If Stephen Fry and the BBC researchers are to be believed, the alcohol consumers (wasn't that politely worded) among us do not need to worry. Apparently while pure alcohol does have a dehydration effect the volume of fluid in the drink more than makes up for it.

Therefore alcoholic beverages do not dehydrate you. They may cause ugly people of the opposite sex to appear attractive or lead you into deep conversation with the local constabulary or even lead to 'following morning regret' syndrome but hey ----

live and enjoy!
