I don't miss that ! I used to be the same up until last year!

I stopped doing them, fed up with tingly fingers and pains in my hands.

That's why i stopped, got Hand-arm Vibration Syndrome now, could not believe how fast it developed, feel it most now on the throttle of my guzzi t3, stopped doing hedges, but still climb and it's ok, very painful in the cold.

Should have said, ' How fast it developed from tingly fingers ' Fast.

I wear some pretty thick gloves to help with it (and stop regularly). If a company would come out with some long reach hedge trimmers with vibes of about 3 or 4 m/s or so I'd buy them in a heart beat. I think my Stihl ones are 7?

The Echo long reach machine has front handle vibe 5.1m/s², rear handle 4.8m/s².

Just putting the feelers out there really. Have had an absolutely manic 2 years now but things do generally seem to be quietening down a little, not enough to cause alarm and its actually a nice respite. Wondering what its like other parts of the country?

90% of my work is domestic.

Very busy. Not slowing down at all, even at a time when it normally does.

June was quiet here but we had a decent backlog to work through.

Scratching a little bit at the minute, but still a few to book in and as said hedgecutting will kick in now.

Putting off any biggish jobs because of the glorious weather.

Prefer knocking off early for beer and B&B's.

Enjoy it while you can!

Got through a back log of tree work, then it went quiet; good to have a change of pace felt like we hadn't slowed down for a long Time, now it's time to finish processing next winters firewood while it's hot and dry.
