There used to be loads of good info on here a couple of years ago and lots of good light hearted banter. It's not as free flowing as it was which is a shame and probably why you don't see people on here that used to post regularly on other forums more often now. That's not meant to upset any body but it seems a good opportunity to take peoples woes on board.

 

:thumbup1: Agreed. Your point has been missed I think. There are a few really good threads worth reading but it does seem to of lost its vibrancy. I lurked for a good few years before posting and miss the posts of some of the members who no longer post.

Basically yes. 3 points per infraction. 9 points equals 7 day ban, further 3 points following that result in permanent ban. I can't recall giving anyone more than 3 points yet. Most people are reasonable, accept they earned the points and move on in accordance with the forum guidelines.

its the nature of forums....members move on, new ones come in. No points have been lost, I just don't think some people truly understand the nature of forums.

 

That may well be the case. I think it is also the case that different forums have different natures, their natures seem to be driven largely by Google rankings as others have alluded to previously. Nevertheless a pity
