The only two Stihl saws that I prefer over the Husqy equivalents are the 201t and the 460.

The 460, and likely the 461 as well, are for people that like vibes in the hands though.

 

Lots of people has given up using the 460 for that reason.

Ils nice all round, strange thing is I reach for my 15 year old 288 as often as not instead.

you could run a 24in bar on that and then still be able to go bigger in need be!

I never did, until I bought a 441 for my personal saw. The difference is night and day.

 

I hate it though. I'll take the vibes for the extra power of the 460. Never bothered me anyway.
