is the othe ajuster in place

 

IM not sure to sure to be honest im gona go pull it out the garage and have a more detailed look , had the worst most unsympathetic customer in the world yesterday aswell so was trying to complete the hob to at least earn something , you thinking the cos of the movement ? Rather than the blade ? If that was the case then surely they would have hit the anvil ?

Thing is if that was the case then there would be damage to the anvil but it looks fine ,but that did cross my mind il put a pick up of how for the rear bearing housing is away from the right hand bolt

 

I wouldn't read too much into that, the fiywheel is likely to have moved during the blade incident. I have seen bearing housings smashed, blades shattered, flywheels bent and any other damage in between, that machine looks like an easy fix to me

That's good to know. I guess sorting the blade pocket is a bit tricky though ??

 

I suppose it depends on the individuals skill level but its only a bit of mild steel welding and the judicious application of a big hammer.

 

The flywheel might need ballancing
