Insurance for 'modified' Ranger tipper

What year ranger is that? Mine goes in today to be converted. Have you uprated the rear leaf springs? If so from where? Cheers

 

 

I'll get you some proper pics tomorrow. Ali tipping buck so nice and light. 2006 Ranger. This is it without the buck.

I think you will find the problem is with the broker and not the insurer. Any of them will insure a tipper if they know what they are insuring, on any of our non standard kit like cherry pickers or tippers on 4x4`s our broker just asks for a photo. Job done, and thats with Allianze who are not that accommodating.

I have a super cab ranger converted to a tipper and mines through nfu. They are reasonable and gave loads of cover for trailers and plant on the back.

 

I changed my rear leaf springs to more heavy duty ones as the originals were knackered. I'd wait until they are shot and upgrade then, but that's just me.
