thanks for that just found this 1050 copies of the magazine are printed each month for 12 months of the year. The majority of these magazines are hand-delivered

to households in the Whitchurch, Tufton and Litchfield area. I am based in Merseyside and are working mainly in Cheshire an Merseyside

Word of mouth, getting asked to have a look whilst on jobs and flyers in areas I wish to work in. Had some success with facebook, not convinced it is worth the time. I find bringing up you're a tree surgeon every time you speak to someone helps. Also get the family to drop flyers in pubs etc when they go somewhere. I figure just keep spreading the word and some rubs off.

It can be surprising how much work you can get from sitting in the pub in work gear, number on jumper etc. obviously not being a drunken mess, but had a lot of jobs from the after work pint. Otherwise it seams to be word of mouth and, minimal advertising

Ah, the five o'clock club! When I first started on my own lots of my work came off lads (other trades) in the local pub.

 

Those were the days!
