Ah!! but who had spent all the money in the good times, meaning we had no reserves for troubled times???:001_rolleyes:

They did, didn't they?

Didn't they bail the banks out to some extent.

Anyway, no one trudges in pig shite fixing the roof when they can be rolling in the hay while the sun is shining.:001_smile:

And I dont believe a single person who says they will.

If tories are in power then there will be less spending on the nhs, schools and other services I use, thats good enough for me to not vote for them compared to the slight benefit I might get due to running my own business, which does technically make us middle class, wot, wot.

Depends what you call middle classed! I was reared in a house that had no bathroom, getting a bath was a tub in front of an open fire, this was back in the early seventies (Can Ya hear the violins?). Mum and Dad saved hard and built an extension to accomadate a bathroom. I would say I'm a working class lad that 'luckily'?, or through hard graft lives a middle class life........ What do you call a 'middle class life'?

If you were "reared" then I'm afraid you are indeed working class! Poor sod!

Middle class is widespread here now, don't know any working class people here now tbh!

Bad grammar again! What I ment was, My folks started with nowt (lived with Nan until they could afford their own home), worked hard and made a family home. We were/are working class people! we now have the money to live a middle class life style. Its taken a lot of sweat mind.
