Gotta say theres some very nice looking equipment there. Makes my stuff look well err like very poor to say the least:bawling:

But! without looking through the whole thread again I've noticed that you all prefer single cab trucks against double cabs. Tbh I couldnt/wouldnt buy a single cab as a main truck, there's just not enough space to get a 3 man crew in comfortably never mind all the gear. Horses for courses etc but whats your opinion on using single cabs? Apart from housing a third man we use the double cab to store tool boxes and equipment that isnt allways in use but very handy when its needed. Can also save a lot of effort in throwin climbing gear on and off the back when in not in use.

I'm an employee as such I Have no input into the bosses purchases. A bigger cab V's the extra chip is always a good discussion between the guys who actually do the road miles and the man who profits form the work. Either way the idea of carrying extra gear in the back seats is alarming. Even in a mild head on crash those extra bits of kit become deadly projectiles.

Crew cabs are very convenient but,the reduction in pay load is to much IMO.

i think that payload is more important than 3 extra seats for one extra man to be comfortable, if ajob requires more men it will probably require more vehicals so then i would just bring another team onboard. equipment goes in the back!
