Your post is very touching Sean, it's great to hear you being so positive. There will be some dark times ahead, but hang on In there as there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I would post a few jokes to cheer you up bud, but I know what it's like to have broken ribs.

Sean a good friend of mine had a motorcycle accident several years ago, suffered brain damage, lost one leg and the other was paralysed, he went on to build his own bungalow, and learnt to fly a micro light oh and he had a bike modded so he could ride again.

Whatever happens mate there is always a way to achieve most things sometimes you need to think outside the box. Don't let them tell you you won't be able to do this or that, keep positive and stay away from the black side.

Sean - we have never met, but can I just say that I can't begin to imagine how difficult it must have been to write that very moving post. It was done with great dignity and eloquence.

 

Your experience has caused me to take a long hard critical look at how I work. A pause for reflection was probably long overdue. A reminder of my own mortality is both humbling and frightening. I know I won't be the only one affected in this way.

 

I wish you well and I will follow your story as long as you are willing to tell it.
