I really like the high clip position on the hook of my 540, but find my strop interferes with it a little.

Any ideas to optimise it?ImageUploadedByArbtalk1426616501.235951.jpg.07de7096c8e03f100d075ccf474a056e.jpg

Did you not get a little plastic "high clip" that screws onto your T540?

Ours came with one, so the metal strop ring is seperate to the plastic high clip loop. Check the extras that came with the saw.

The best way to stop it being annoying is to put it at the back of the shelf put some rags over it and forget you ever bought one.

But you should have a grey plastic ring for attaching it to you harness

the saw on the left is it brokern ???

And the saw on the right is battery powered???

Not mine, found the image on google, just to illustrate the plastic ring.

Cos I'm nice like that.

The t540 is broken out of the box, it is just a matter of time before the owner realises it.
