High clip on 540

I really like the high clip position on the hook of my 540, but find my strop interferes with it a little.

Any ideas to optimise it?

Did you not get a little plastic "high clip" that screws onto your T540?

 

Ours came with one, so the metal strop ring is seperate to the plastic high clip loop. Check the extras that came with the saw.

do you have the plastic one that's not for strop use but for caritool??

Like the one on the right. Both metal and plastic loops can be fitted at the same time.

The best way to stop it being annoying is to put it at the back of the shelf put some rags over it and forget you ever bought one.

 

But you should have a grey plastic ring for attaching it to you harness

You have abit missing bud ! Think you can just make it out from this pic . Its the grey loop .
