I take offence to that :sneaky2::biggrin:

It's alright Steve we know that you once climbed a couple of trees back in yer prime!

Good to see you back on here. Best wishes for a full recovery

I read somewhere that if a woman has a glass of wine a night it increases the chance of a Stroke. You'll need her to finish the bottle for her to suck it though

Haha brilliant!

Thank you for your kind thoughts. The NHS did a good job of bringing me back from the edge but the doctors prognosis is not good. My right hand side is weak beyond belief and i have to face up to the fact that i will never be able to go back to climbing again.

I cant even type properly and the wife is typing this as we speak. So a new career path is going to be needed. I dont know what yet but i have plenty of time to think about it.

Stay safe and look after your health it was a great surprise to me to find that i am not invinsible. Andy.

Still good to hear your on the right side of life, and keep positive, i know what its like to think thats it your life is over, about 2 years ago i too was wired for sound in my local nhs hotel, found out that i have a big heart with a small defect, but i just tend to keep reminding the wife that its official, i am big hearted :001_smile:, what was worse for me about 18 years ago i lost the use of my legs for about 3 mths, depression, did think at that time the worst things possible, but slowly my back improved and my legs started to work again. After just taking things easy last year i am now back on form but rather than chasing after work i am taking a back seat and have at the grand old age of 52 been subbing again as a climber, at my own speed, but its going fine, just have a very small client base who pay me top dollar and in between i do stump grinding, i have just about given up on the report writing as i found dealings were not always worth the stress, (LPAs) and clients, just climbing is quite relaxing on the mind, and the stump grinding is actually mind numbing :laugh1: Get well and keep your chin up. :thumbup1:
