There is just over an acre of grassland within walking distance of where i live, i have being here just over 3 years and nothing has ever been done with it. I have the address of the current owner...worth asking if they would be willing to part with it

Make sure your sat down before you enquire about the price. If it's anything like the money being asked around these parts it's enough to make you go week at the knees.

The problem with land is they just don't make it anymore!

:thumbup1: 5 acre field near me was up for £155,000

Jepers...I have looked on the net religiously for around a year now and stuff of this size in this area is around 6 grand, i would happily pay more for the right piece.

Do you think land prices will always rise from here on in?

Very much depends on the land & location, it does render me flabbergasted at what some land will go for.

I recon so...more and more land being developed for silly prices. As with everything the cost usually goes 1 way and that's up. I am fed up of renting, pay peanuts for it but i dont wanna do too much to it because i know 1 day i will be booted off.

I know it depends on what sort of ground it is and where you are located, but just over £1k/acre it's got to be worth ago, ain't it?

I've just done a quick google search and the nearest thing to me is a 5.8 acre medow....... £100k!

Could be in els/hls scheme, just because it looks like nothing is being done, doesn't mean it's not doing anything.
