Just got a beast ring from treekit, not sure they sell the tht but worth a call anyway. Easy enough to slice them on and done quite a few for myself.

14, 16, and possibly 18mm used. Locking brummel splice.

 

when i last spoke to tree kit they only had antal (which i know make x rings) have they got beasts in again now or is it the large antal?

 

sorry for my incessant questioning!

No worries, the beast that landed yesterday has x on it as I'm not entirely sure antal make that size ring as a normal item but only for extreme arborist supplies, might be wrong but sure I'd heard it somewhere.

The neck taper looks non-existent, some marine splicers will cut the core at the end of the eye, just be aware of slippage, as soon as the eye looks empty it is time to get it spliced again and preferably by an arb splicer.
