Hi all,

Basically my defender has decided it doesn't like driving up hills, you'll have to bear with me as im not that technical with them.

It will be singing along quite happily on the flat and down hill, but then when you hit an incline, there is no power at all, you change down a gear like usually, no response, change down again and you may be lucky and it pulls through a bit juddery or worse comes to the worse you end up going up the hill in first. Ive found im a gear down every hill at the moment, and this is with the truck empty!

If your going uphill in say 2nd gear, foot flat to the floor, the revvs almost bottom out way before they should and turbo is sounding but no power, just absolutely gutless!

Replaced the fuel pump in Feb 2014 at quite a cost, new turbo, lift pump, all new filters etc, but it is behaving now as it did when the pump went last year.

any ideas or tips? I've checked all hoses etc and cant see any leaks or splits, and have undone the lid on the bottom of the filter to see if there is water or anything in the filter.

Cheers
