My "Truck and long Chain" Topping jobs are nomally more tidy than that.

I think you need a longer Chain,then you will get more Speed up and it will snap cleaner.

looks like its near a house, did it land on anything?

 

You wont belive this but, most landed in clients garden, but took out neighbours fence flated his shed which had gass bottles which explosed which finished the shed and remaining fence, bloody lucky the house did not go up.

It has been a bit stange weather down here, this was a lightning strike.

 

Is it quite in your part of the world, if so it picks up for you.

Back in the day well 1987 storms think must of use older boys had no other way but to climb it. But these days with MEWP"s it can be avoided, we did not climb it, I will post some photos in the next week or so of the machine we used.
