I love Christmas. Spending time with the wife and dog and this year will be the first in our own house so that will be even nicer. Things can go pear shaped very easily and you don't know what's round the corner. Imagine if this was the last Christmas you've got and some of you lot are moaning for the sake of it about the price of tat?

Stuff that! I'm watching Home Alone and having a cracking time!

Well today was the last Sunday since October that I have been down in the village putting up Christmas lights , for the fishing community Christmas can be a pretty bleak time of year both financially and emotionally , almost every fishing family or the families of fishermen have lost a loved , family member or close friend . Making the prt come to light is just one small gesture for all that have lost someone to the see . And having a young family myself it's a pretty lowly way to say merry Christmas .

Once they have been switched on this Friday I will get some pictures to share with you all .

Merry Christmas

Making an effort this year, and took the missus to the garden centre and bought some really nice decs and also ordered some ecodecs from mike. The mrs is a bit worried i might have had a bang to the head. Weds week cut down a tree and decorate that for the big house ready for the xmas and new year holiday lets. The trees we have here loose their needles very quick.

I accept you are correct , my English is woeful ( and i'm English)

I feel I have to point out that when I corrected "there" with "their" it should have been "they're", my English is also woeful! 1-0 to you cheesy Pete.

Have you read the book "eats shoots and leaves" ? It's about a panda that goes into a restaurant has a meal and then kills everyone before leaving.

It's not really ...... It's about the correct use of punctuation. Eats, shoots and leaves. Careless use of comma's can kill. :)

No, but maybe I should! Punctuation wasn't the problem, just the wrong word, completely.
