Does anyone know of any places to get small quantity of red in Aberdeenshire ?

Get friendly with a local farmer or agricultural contractor.

My neighbour sorts me out with any red I need. Bit more volume on his orders makes for better haggling for him and saves me the bother of ordering small amounts and paying through the nose. Couple of pints for his trouble and everybody's a winner :thumbup1:

I pay £0.80+ when i take me 9 jerry cans over and collect from my supplier. Asked the yardman what it would cost if i got a tank and had it delivered - £0.60+. Minimum sale of 500L though.

Difference in price is due to the cost of running a yard.

Need to find myself a tank.

If you can move one around you could use an IBC. Cost £20

Spoke to our local suppliers and was told as long as the tank was portable there was no need for a bunded/expensive tank. I just pop it on the trailer and bring it to the lorry at roadside for filling.
