Gomtaro 300mm here, with Sawpod.

 

I find it really annoying the way the sheath seems designed to crumble away at the top where you pull the saw out and shove it back in. This makes it dangerously loose after a while so you have to replace the whole lot now and again.

 

Cracking saw though.

Im hearin you there Mark Bolam! i was chuckin my leg over a branch the other day and my saw flew out its sheath and only just missed slicing my groundy down the face!!!

i tape mine up at the end of the handle and this jams it in place.:001_cool:

Yamabico 330mm

 

Abit too grabby from new but onced used a few times cuts very well.

Still like my zubat but the larger teeth on the yamibico make cutting larger stuff easier.

its got to be a silky, Zubat 330 for me but with a another holder, the holder that come with the saw is really poor.

 

I got a curved Corona saw scabbard for my Zubat, fits like a hand in a glove, and doesnt fall out!:001_smile:

My old guvnor is the sole supplier of Barnel tools from America. Theyre really good, always used their handsaws, they're a quarter of the price and last just as long. If anything they are slightly more flexible and prone to snapping, but for the difference in price it was well worth it.
