Just give the 461 a quick nip of the file and then sharpened the ms150 ,think I need glasses has I struggled seeing them tiny teeth with the 3mm file .

 

Feel like I am crossed eyed now :001_huh: .

 

Anyone else struggle .

Get the lowest magnification specs off the shelf from Tesco , about £5

I never use a file guide or I didn't as I have given in for the 150. The teeth and file are too small for me to freehand sharpen well

I have a magnifying glass in my workshop, bad light makes my eyesight much worse - the joys of getting old..........shame my behaviour isn't more adult:lol:

It probably doesn't help that most tree blokes have less than dainty fingers.

Those files are like pencil leads!

So are you saying that you don't have any lead in your pencil cos you've worn it out sharpening your saw with it?

I keep a bright red permanent pen with my files. Mark the link where I start. Poor light and I can't see where I've been!
