Hi all,

I need a big saw, I have a 372xp on a 20inch, MS460 on a 25 inch, and a 181 on a 28 inch, but as you can see, I need a saw with a bit more grunt to take a bigger bar.

I want something to run primarily a 36inch bar for the bigger bits of timber, so although a 395 will do that, is it worth shelling out that bit more and getting a 3120?

Having said that, I do a bit of work for someone who only has a 660 as their biggest saw and bugger me haven't we cut some big wood with it, and it does them fine, but then others use an 880 and it gets the job done that bit quicker.

I don't want to buy the 395 and be wishing I had gone bigger, and likewise would hate to buy a 3120 and think im an idiot for buying something so big.

I'm only 21 and with limited funds from what I have saved up through work, so want a good investment that will do me well. what would you do, with your experience and business?

Cheers
