Kangoo with a full roof rack, fantastic flexible tool. The passenger seat folds down then the mesh bulk head (hinged) swings open and slots into place so you can put long item in and your protected by that too. I used to put a mobile tower on the top of mine...

You can Do a lot in a KANGOO!

my old 1.9 berlingo has been reliable, my newer kangoo wasn't the diesel pump went and would of cost thousends to fix so sold it at a massive loss, did like it until that happened mind!

Citroen berlingo for me. Good ride, load volume, good mpg, reliable.

Plus one (prospectively) for the Berlingo / Partner - just about to buy a second hand new shape one. Had an 06 plate berlingo before and that was great in every respect.

I have an 11 plate Vito that seems to run on fumes and goes like the clappers even with a tonne in the back need to keep a close eye on speedo. I doubt I would gain 10 mpg with a small van so stick with vitos now.

I've just a vauxhall combo 1.7 tdi. Seems a great little van. Cracking on fuel. Pretty nippy and cheap to insure.

Or the Corsavan 1.3 CDTi, as above but even more so. Plus even from a short distance, it looks no different from a Corsa, I like that anonymity, because it doesn't scream "VAN" thus less likely to become a magnet for any scroats thinking that their might be some tools in the back to be "set free"!
