Bosses are on a vast amount more pay than their employees which does not warrant them going hell for leather if their boss decides he want to "lead by example"

:confused1:but your always telling us how little your hourly rate is if you count all the quoting and maintenance:confused1:

You say you do 3 paid days and 4 on business related not billable stuff??

I'm not getting into a girly argument. :001_smile:

Fact is I'm running about in a Landcruiser Amazon, my groundy isn't!

The business pays all my overheads, it doesn't pay my groundies.

Leading by example is ok when it comes to getting to work on time, cleaning up after a job, correct work practice.

It isn't when it comes to irresponsibly working like a dog in blistering heat encouraging heatstroke / heat exhaustion / dehydration

spot on Dean your last 3-4 posts capture what i was trying to say exactly. It would be awesome to work with someone with such a balanced opinion on these matters.

36C in full sun in the garden I was in, blistering, I melted down to a mess of ginger goo, just a hat and my boots visible. Luckily the client kept me going with loads of ice filled squash, but the jobs a good 'un, just seemed to go on and on forever.
