I agree with the reminiscing, the 200t had it's problems as well that's why I got the 201t. It's never stalled on me or failed to pick up rev's without being tweaked every 5 mins😊

Almost everything I want to do with a top handle can be done with the Stihl 150. Then just change straight over to a 50-60cc rear handle for blocking down.

 

I'd be interested to try the echo too but don't know anyone close by with one.

If you're on a tight budget the echo is over £100 cheaper. Heard nothing but good things about it too.

 

My 201t is great. Less power than the Husqy, but it doesn't fall apart when it sees a tree either.

I've got two ms201s, not had a problem with either of them. Put a better chain than the standard one on, drill a hole in the exhaust and you're good to go!

I dust of my old retired stihl 020 know and again to do small jobs for old time sake. You Old school on here will remember those saws. However I have just purchased a new ms201T..but I think its not got as much go in it like the 200. Or the ye old 020.
