p.s.... ref: waterproofness.... I've been looking for proper waterproof rigger boots and noted Hoggs have nice looking leather riggers called 'Aquasafe' and they are described as being fully waterproof. So I emailed them to find out if my feet would still be dry if I stood in a brook for half an hour....

and here's the answer "Our Aquasafe rigger boots are fully waterproof and should be ok standing in water for a short period. Our boots are covered by a 1 year warranty if the boots fail."

Which beggars a question "Should a boot be described as being "fully waterproof" if they are only "Fully waterproof for a short period". hmmmm

Agree, they do look great.... but my piggy bank is more of a piglet bank; so I eagerly await the reviews to imagine what it must be like to have dry legs.

Hi Steve, feedback on the test trousers has been very good so I hope it's not long before you can get yourself a pair. Be pleased to hear other feedback too 😀

Trousers look great, love my cut and climb jacket. These are a bit steep for me though thought they'd be a bit less than the jacket, most brands seem to price they're trousers a bit cheaper than the equivalent jacket as there's less work involved making them. Think I'll stick with the berghaus deluge they're on offer in cotswold :thumbup1:

Why is there less work involved?
