You can all argue it until you are blue in the face.

It's the same in every trade, some are worth tuppence ha'penny, some are worth two hundred a day!

Remind me to give you that tenner for the other day when I see you mate

I pay my unqualified brash rats £80 a day but I'm choosy who I use and my groundy gets between £100-120 a day depending on the job and the work load for that day and I expect work from 7:30-4 and again, im a little picky but in my opinion, £60 is way too low! Especially when you consider most people will be pricing you out at £200 a day!

Climbers are worth more, don't want to turn this into a bashing thread though. works both ways and a good climber needs a good groundie in order to feel comfortable when rigging etc! However, a climber faces huge risks, we had a very near fatal accident not long ago just from mother nature, huge anchor point failure which was blind to the eye, un controllable which are scenarios groundsman do not face. Sorry for going off topic, but yes to answer op question 100 a day is fair for you to start with and climber anything from 120-180 depending on skill set! But just charge as much as you can get away with, only you really know how much your worth with the skills you have.
