It doesn't unfortunately.

 

There are loads of threads on this, but with new stuff coming out all the time it's always relevant.

 

I like the look of the Ridgeline Pintail smock, but haven't heard any feedback from arbs who've tried one.

 

I bought a Sealflex farmers type jacket last winter, which is fully waterproof but pretty sweaty when you get going.

 

Some prick will be along in a minute saying that skin is waterproof, which is great when you're climbing in sleet all day.

FWIW the cut and climb is ace, and I find hoods cumbersome so I don't mind not having one.

I've got a Tribord one from decathlon sailing range which has a hood. Was digging footings all day in the rain a few weeks ago and it didn't let a drop in. It was quite a warm day but as it's breathable it wasn't too sweaty. Only £15, bargain!
