what tires for tree surgeon transit van?

going to need some new tires on the transit soon, had a 4x4 previously so im in new ground regarding the transit truck

 

can anyone recommend fairly cheap new tires that are up to tree work, ie heavy loads in vehicle and fairly tough sidewalls

 

tried blackcircles.com but so much choice, what have you lads gone for?

Saw a transit last week fitted with these - Kuhmo 205 80 16 Road Ventura, they looked the nuts..

I used to run matador or kumho on my old LDV. Matador used to do some nice semi off road tyres, think they stopped them though

iv got some collins m&s tyres on my sprinter ,very good on the chip pile .

They do look good mate, but my local tyre place said they couldn't legally put them on the front wheels.

 

Fedima do some 185 75 R16s AT, but they're remoulds and probably wouldn't last well on Tarmac, although I'm still tempted this winter at £75 each.

Bloke had them on all 6 wheels.. Loved them. I was mainly interested on them being fitted to the rear end also he didn't need spacers to fit them. Any way I may not even have a transit by the end of this week !

There was a chap on here (cant remember who), about 6 months ago or so, who had some really knobbly tyres on his transit, looked really good.

a chap that used ta work for Hiline had an older style tranny box van (single wheels on the back axle) and had BFG muddies on there, (back axle only) looked gr8 imo.

when i had my old transit tipper i put real aggressive tyres on the rear because my yard was bad and used to get stuck every day never got stuck afterwards.
