Imo if it needed that much 'work' doing to it why not just repollard it further back to were it has been done before. It would look a lot better and will produce a more manageable tree.

this is when i get confused, if monkeyd and his team had spent all day doing that in a park, then it would be congratulated, do it by the main rd and its butchery. :

Surely it would have been easier for them to re-pollard it back to where its been done before rather than bugger about up there to leave it looking like that???

 

I thought that mate but then thought that they probably only used a bow saw, so taking any more off would of been to much like hard work!!! :scared1:

A close second place, usual story priced this job a few weeks ago been past today and somone has had a go!

 

The Sorbus was priced for a light reduction and the 2 Birch which were as tall as the house were to be reduced by 25% :thumbdown:
