youre project will be a book joe, this will be the never-ending thread!

stihl for me as was the first saw i used at 13 and never really given huskys a chance, just think its easier to stick with one brand

oh and i dont like the huskys start/stop switch or choke thingys, stihls one is a real neat design

i am with josh, husky start stop choke thing is crap, and i dont like the way the clutch sits out for when you are changing the bar and chain. apart from that i believe if a swa is sharp it will cut. but i do like my stills.

Stihls for us mainly because the husqy's that we've had have been nothing but trouble! They semmed to be very tempramental and fall apart quite easily. In sayin that though the 254 was probably the best saw ever made!...

imo huskys cut so much nicer and seem more nimble but you do need to look after them. the only exeption is the ms200t, the 338xpt isnt a bad saw, the stihl is just really good.

huskys for me because they alot cheaper they cut better and i have more feel with the saw than i do with a stihl personal prefrence really they basically the same just minor differences

since when where Husqvarna "alot cheaper" than Stihl????
