I believe little 4x4 jimny was actually designed by land rover for suzuki

Talked to 4x4 specialist who trained drivers for oil companies on how to drive 4x4's

He rated jimny said he'd seen one start and drive up 25% grade covered in sheet ice

The little jimny will be easier to control on ice. I had a 2003 Range Rover for 3 days before it ended up in a ditch on its roof after sliding on sheet ice lots of colourful lights to look at as I rolled over.

Bit worried about the LR input but at least they dont throw them together.

Never heard the Land Rover thing before but who knows?

What I do know however is that there is certainly no similarity between the two companies as far as reliability is concerned.

Maybe they should get Suzuki to build everything else they design as well.

I seriously considered a Santana PS10 for a while.

I may be wrong but I think you are confusing LR's input with Suzuki with Santana who used to make LR's under licence, fell out with LR & produced their own 4x4. Suzuki took over Santana for a while & where producing Suzuki's from their production line in Spain.

This was what I found out when I was looking at buying a PS10, then I found one & bought it.

Holidaying in Greece, every other car is a Jimny.

Probably a lot better than the L200 I had - couldn't be any worse!

Small Suzukis are great. Cheap, light, reliable, go anywhere. For that reason, I always recommend people get Land Rovers. I like the idea of competing against people with massive handicaps.

Excellent!
