nope no press and no fuss lol , sadly we did not keep track of the ammount of timber . the youth hostel have now said for some reason that they want the main trunk left standing so the decent planking timber is going to be left standing which is a shame but also is great as we dont have to deal with it

Tbh mate that is the best outcome you could've had, as it is unsellable to mills- it rots fast, and is pretty poor quality fitewood. Not the worst, but pretty poor and not nice to split. It is okay for internal carcassing wood, but that market is sewn up by the builders merchants already. If you want to clear a load of it, the chainsaw carvers have it sometimes.

yeah i gave them a shout but they could not be to sure when they could pick it up but its ok as the yha will have alot of it for the camp fires and the rest will go back to my yard and get mixed in with the rest of the logs (if a ever can be botherd to do any lol )

 

I take it you dont mean mixed with your hardwood logs too:scared1::scared1::001_smile:
