Hi all new to the forum and my first post.

I have been asked a question and as I'm unsure on the answer would

Like to ask the question on here.

Is leyllandi any good as firewood. I would say prob no but thought I'd ask as I'm not 100% sure.

Burns hot & fairly fast, it's ok in a stove, on an open fire not so good.

 

Not a great commercial firewood, but it will keep you warm.

we are just about to start burning it this year as hardwood is getting very thin on the ground it splits excellent and is very easy to light as when splitting it sort of tears

Being picky now but it can be annoying when you're nice and clean in your living room and pick up a lump with a bubble of sap. This then gets on your hands and the missus reacts none to well as you put black marks on kit. As for your issues the web of your hand then gets stuck to your beer glass as you put it down to refill! But it does indeed burn hot and smells quite nice.

i use it on my woodburner great stuff burns veryhot & underrated as a firewood but i will burn it with the rest if its dry and made of wood i will burn it lol
