It's the way you said "iv bid on & won this chipper so I'm going to look at it today" that comes across like your just going there to view it

You say your going to use this as your old one needs money spending on it but this one is 16 years old itself so don't go there expecting a new tw this chipper could have 20,000 hours on it

With older plant you just have to buy it on face value on the day as it's not a motor with doc,s and sh to back up what the seller is saying

Any way best of luck with the chipper

Yeah I understand that, but an old entec owner who doesn't praise the machine is very rare to come by!! Lol

The seller's added this bit:

'viewing recommended and insisted before you buy no moaning afterwords'

Priceless

He's probably miffed that someone as signed up to a legally binding contract with him then pulled out at the eleventh hour.......I would be.

How anyone can bid £k's on something without seeing it is beyond me.

No I don't like it pal. What the sellers idea of "good condition" is, and your idea of good condition is, could be two totally different things.

eBay rules are clear for all to see!....Why did you not view the chipper before you placed your bid? You've cost that bloke time/money. If the boot was on the other foot would you like it?

I got messed about by a so called trader on eBay a few weeks ago. Spoke to the bloke four times to check out an old pick up, he assured me that I would not find a better truck, for the age. (Sent me pictures of another truck)Eight hour round journey to look at a truck that I wouldn't go to my own funeral in.

See what I mean?
