On another note i do find the chain can come off the bar quite easy when compared to an MS200T, this always results in the drive sprocket damaging the chain drive teeth which means i gotta spend ages filing them flat again. Due to this i carry 3 chains (just in case) and simply fit a replacement and file the damaged chain at home on the bench. If your topping a hedge (conifer etc) it seems to happen all too easily so you have to run the chain tight and be extra careful. It has snapped the nylon chain catcher as a result and one is on order. One of the replacement chains they sold me was very aggressive straight out of the box and would cause the saw to buck around alot and snag in the cut. Udder than that this is an amazing saw and i really loike it. Would i buy anudder one if i needed to next week ? YES.

I have a little Husky that does this all the time - Someone showed me that, instead of messing around filing the drive links flat. Just fit it back to the saw but VERY loose, then give it a few revs, the links will seat themselves back into the bar, then just tighten up and carry on as normal.:thumbup1:

The chain of both my husky T435 keeps coming loose up the tree almost every climb! I have to climb with a combi spanner as it happens so often! I dunno if this is a design flaw or I'm just a complete mong! One of them got nicked so we only have half the problem now!

I have had mine about 4-5 months I'm really pleased with it but it also has a rattle from the exhaust, could get it done on the warranty but the thought of packing it up and posting it just for a simple exhaust swap is ridiculous. Why won't they just post the spare and let me fit it.

that is silly and a PITA. i took my saw into the dealer i bought it from (i prefer to buy face to face for warranty reasons) and they swapped the rattling exhaust off my saw for one they removed from a saw they had new in stock !

That plastic cover that shrouds the zorst is distorted and melting on mine too. Overall a gr8 saw though.

thas not such a gr8 idea in my opinion as it causes excess wear on the bar channel which cud lead to the bar having to be replaced prematurely. Also the chain will not run straight and true which will lead to 'poor or crooked' finishing cuts on larger diameter limbs. The dink in my drive links is such that they will not allow the chain to reseat in the channel anyway, so i prefer to flat file them or touch them up with a dremel. I loike cake.
