Forst👍

Another gang just received a timber pup 240/250 whatever it is.

They say its a great machine so far. Also think its 8" with side rollers and still 750kg

Had a demo of the Forst 6" yesterday...impressed....good build quality, 3 years warranty....sounds like good customer support...heavy...but probably stronger? now confused!!!!....and now feel none the wiser!!!!!

To start with, can you tow it legally? That is the main reason for GreenMech and Timberwolf designing and building machines for the sub 750kg class.

By the way, what is covered in their 3 year warranty and what do you have to do to qualify for it?

No you can't pete ss its built out of thick metal and 950 kg

I can tow it legally, my lad is doing his trailer test, its the best way, machinery built light dont last long simple.

The warrenty covers everything but paint and is on condition of servicing with authorised parts, v simply and fantastic too deal with as were gm before dealers got involved.

Had 2 warranty issues with mine , fixed next day at my site, can't be bad!

Yep...no issue on license for me...and again my lads are doing thier trailer soon...the service seems great...and a lot of local names seem to have started to swap their fleet over....so there must be something in it?

I'm looking forward to checking out the forst vari track and the new Timberwolf (hopefully vari track) at the AFP, that's my mission for the show, I am wanting to replace my 150 vtr in the next year so let's see what is going to be best for me.

Trouble is...we could need another chipper within a week due to a contract...pressure is on with what to get and timescales...It seems like we're the only ones that don't have time to wait for the show...???

I forget the legislation, but is it not the case that a 750KG trailer does not count as part of your train weight, so no need for Taco, but pull a trailer over 750KG and you do??

Or am I wrong??
