whats the difference with the diff? and what about one from a surf they were imported hi luxes with seats, better still buy the full suf you will get a scapper for a couple of hundred quid, really interested what the difference in the diff is.

 

i would imagine the mounting holes and brackets are similar so if you cant get a diff change the full axle and if the ratio is different put a front one on from the same scrapper, ive had a few hiluxes they are easy to work on and alot of parts interchangable. good luck with it

 

 

ill give milners a ring again and see what i can find elsewhere, i can find parts in austrailia but the shipping would cost more than the parts.

 

The cost of overhauling the diff would be the same as buying a whole new truck just for parts, and less hassle, if i can source the parts i would be able to do it myself. otherwise its into the garage

cheers guys, it is needing tweeked here and there, i want to lighten the back end so when i can i will remove that hiab and stick a log crane on, would love a botex with hi seat, actually if it was remote controlled that would be even better lol, dream dream dreamitty dream.:thumbup:
