They are very popular trucks here in the states. There is a huge demand for them because of the reliable engine. I have two, one single wheel, and one dual wheel with aluminum flatbed. Just put the ali flatbed on the truck, and will build a ali chip box this winter when things slow down.

 

I just picked up this rear mount bucket truck too, nice and short, 60 foot working height. It's a beast!

im toying with the idea of putting an alloy dropside on the back when i get some spare cash. i used to run a gmc 1500 6.5 diesel but that had to go. have done abit of work out in the states and had the use of 2 F350 dually's, one with the diesel powerstroke and the other with the triton v10, lovely trucks but the dually's are too wide for over here and not great off road.

Thats some beast of a truck.. Does it just scissor up and down though? Been using one all last week and found that reach is just as if not more important than height . You guys are the experts though

It's got quiete a bit of articulation. The way it sits the upper boom can touch the ground over the front of the truck. Over center, left right, up down. It wrecks trees real quick.

Bet that full of chip will make them steering nice and light, tidy landy mate.

It's a bit overkill but not excessively heavy I don't think, the guy I bought me off told me about how he always breaks ally bodies, not something I've had issues with before. However the boy is brand new and in primer in that picture Ali may as well use it before changing it.
